Yoshio KITAHARA Professor

Fields English Linguistics, Linguistics, Language Acquisition, Higher Education

I teach “English A” and “English B” to first year students and “English C” to second year students as part of their general education. I also give lectures and exercises, and guide students in their research at the Graduate School of International Cultural Studies. I originally studied English linguistics and now conduct small studies on the discipline. However, in relation to my work with this organization, I have recently started to put more effort into research dealing with higher education (teaching methods of foreign languages including English language education, evaluation and quality assurance, and professional development), and my recent research achievements are also centered on studies related to higher education.
