As part of the 45^th Anniversary of the Sino-Japanese Fellowship Event, the Miyagi Prefecture Sino-Japanese Fellowship Association held the “All-Japan Chinese Speech Contest 2023 Tohoku Contest” in cooperation with the Chinese National Consulate General. The event was held on October 28^th (Saturday) in Hitachi Systems Hall (Sendai City Youth Culture Center).

The contest was held as the Tohoku area preliminary round for the All-Japan competition, and a 1^st Year Pharmacology Student (Tanabe), a student of Specially Appointed Lecturer Xiaorong Zhang from the Center for Culture and Language Education, won first place.
